We have signed an MoU with the government of Tamil Nadu to develop an e-methanol project. First step is a pilot plant and afterwards developing a production facility of 100.000-300.000 tonnes/year of e-methanol.
India has substantial potential for e-methanol projects, driven by its renewable energy resources, industrial emissions, and ambitious decarbonization goals. With a strong commitment to green hydrogen production, significant industrial CO2 sources, and a rapidly growing transport sector, India could become a key player in the global e-methanol market.
